LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – This is Home Fest, a cultural festival celebrating the music, art, and culinary experiences of SWLA, will be held this weekend.
The lineup of musicians includes Eric Gales, Grace Bowers & The Hodge Podge, Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys, Zydecane ft. Damon Troy, Kylie Frey, Hayden Helms Band, Morgan Lemelle & the Zydeco Playmakers Loaded 44rz, Young Band Nation, and Barbe Show Choir.
There will be a Kids Zone, open from noon to 6 p.m., designed for the youngest of festival-goers. It will feature interactive games, creative crafts, musical activities, and a petting zoo.
Local food trucks and culinary vendors will be present, and festival-goers can browse curated art vendors, offering everything from handmade goods to unique regional crafts.
