Hancock outfielder Mallory Sporalski has helped the team get off to a 5-3 start this season. She also recently was awarded the Youth Contributor of the Year during the annual Keweenaw Community SparkPlug Awards. The Youth Contributor of the Year is awarded to “a school-aged individual or organization that helped spark an improvement in our community through community service during the previous year.”
