
North Bay Haven and Bay High held some of the final signing day ceremonies of the school year, as several student-athletes made their college commitments official by putting pen to paper for their destinations this fall.

Sophia Santos, Baptist University of Florida
Santos was the sole senior on the Lady Buccaneers’ volleyball squad, which was 22-4 and reached the Elite 8 of the FHSAA playoffs. Santos finished her career with 69 kills, 43 aces, 38 blocks and 65 digs.
Ever since in middle when I started playing I knew I always wanted to play in college,” Santos said. “I wouldn’t be in this sport if it weren’t for my teammates and I really felt the love this season as the only senior.”

Trace Brooks, Baptist University of Florida baseball
The senior pitcher finished his high school career with a 6-5 record, 3.92 ERA and 101 strikeouts.
Andrew Scott, Bluefield University baseball
This past season, Scott had a 2-3 record with a 4.42 ERA and 47 strikeouts.
Oliver Pratt, Baptist University of Florida men’s basketball
The Bay County boys basketball player of the year after averaging 14.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals.
Chris Noble, Faulkner University football
Noble was dynamic on the football field this past season, rushing for 221 yards and five touchdowns on offense, while also recording 30 tackles on defense.
Caleb Toombs, Livingstone College football
Toombs’ senior season was cut short but the running back’s presence was felt. In six games, he totaled 404 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.
Zachary Roper, Huntington College football
The outside linebacker finished his senior season with 65 tackles and two sacks.
Cavarious Manley, Peru State College football
The corner finished his senior season with 40 tackles and three pass deflections.
Jadon Forman, Capital University football
The offensive guard blocked for a team that rushed for 1,699 yards and threw for 2,342.
Jemerion Hall, William Woods University football
The free safety totaled 44 tackles and two interceptions in his high school career.
Arianna Arnold, Andrew College softball
Arnold has a .284 career batting average, 27 hits, 29 runs, 24 RBIs and two home runs.
