New York International Auto Show celebrates its 125th anniversary
The New York International Auto Show is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. “The New York Auto Show really got things started for the auto industry back in 1900 at the old Madison Square Garden,” said Show president Mark Schienberg.
If you’re heading to the 125th annual New York International Auto Show, which runs through April 27 at Manhattan’s Jacob Javits Center, you can speed up the process thanks to the New York State DMV, which will have its mobile office there with staff to process REAL IDs.
Starting May 7, you’ll need a REAL ID to fly or enter federal buildings. (Learn more about that in this story.) Congress approved in 2005 adopting REAL ID travel identification, a security measure that emerged after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
The DMV mobile location is at booth number NC 1, second level, north concourse.
