MOVTA Power Point Tennis Program

The MOVTA Power Point Tennis Program will be held this coming Sunday on April 27, from 2-4 p.m. at the City Park tennis courts.

It will be “Sign Off Sunday.” This is a program where the area junior tennis players are given a Skill Card with several tasks to complete. When the player decides he/she is ready to sign off on requirements, they come to “Sign Off Sunday.”

Players will move from station to station to demonstrate the required skills they have mastered to an adult supervisor. When they finish the card and turn it in, they will receive a new one with new tasks. The points they earn from each task will convert into “real dollars” to be spent at Greenmont Racquet Club. They offer tennis clinics, private tennis lessons, and sell items in their Pro Shop.

There are also many other ways to earn points. We have local businesses and tennis enthusiasts in the area who support the program. If you have not joined yet, you may come on Sunday to learn more about the program.
