Kids will be able to eat free at Walt Disney World next year with the purchase of an adult dining plan. For 2026, children between 3 and 9 staying at a Disney resort hotel can get free food as long as other guests (10 and older) have a paid dining plan.
Typically, special Disney offers cannot be combined with other discounts. However, this promotion changed the rules a bit.
“The kids free dining plan offering can be combined with other select special offers, meaning you may still be eligible to take advantage of other deals we later roll out for 2026,” per the Disney Parks Blog.
While the package does include snacks, children eating for free must choose from the kids’ menu at restaurants. Advance reservations may be required at some locations, and there is a chance a restaurant will not be available at the time of plan purchase. Paid dining plans for other guests do not include tips and must be valid for the entire stay.

In addition to free kids dining, guests at Disney World’s hotels get free parking, early theme park admission, and complimentary transportation around via the monorail, boat, bus, or Disney Skyliner. Extended evening hours at select theme parks are also available for guests staying at either Disney Deluxe Resorts or Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts.
Other perks include early access to dining reservations and opportunities to buy tickets for special events before anyone else. Disney hotel guests can also receive a free water park pass.
Guests deciding to spend the day at the hotel instead of venturing to one of the theme parks will still have plenty to do. There are themed pools, character dining, as well as surprise encounters with Disney characters wandering the hotel.
Booking for 2026 Disney World vacations opens up on April 22. Currently, guests cannot reserve any travel dates beyond October 2026 as Disney will announce availability for November and December at a later time.
Of course, guests looking for a Disney vacation can book dates for 2025 right now. With fresh competition from Universal’s Epic Universe, which will start welcoming guests next month, Disney will likely continue to push new and upgraded promotions for 2026.
