BATAVIA – Some raindrops were falling as kids and families waited at Ian Sanfratello’s Pike Road residence as kids waited to snatch up the eggs that they could Saturday morning. By the time the kids got their instructions for the Easter egg hunt, the drops had stopped and the youngsters could focus on the prizes.
“It’s just a stampede. We just let them do what they want,” Ian Sanfratello said before the hunt began. There was room on the grass on one side of the house for kids to pick up eggs and on the other side between the house and the pond.
