ORLANDO, Fla. – You’ve heard of Easter Peeps, but how about Easter beeps?
On Saturday, the Orlando Fire Department and Lighthouse Central Florida hosted an inclusive Easter egg scavenger hunt on the front lawn of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
This event provided visually-impaired children with the chance to engage in a cherished holiday tradition that is often inaccessible to them.

The OFD arson and bomb squad created special Easter eggs designed to look and feel like traditional eggs.
The large, colorful eggs also feature a beeping element, allowing visually impaired children to locate them without relying on sight.
Organizers said the unique opportunity ensured that everyone could enjoy the joy of Easter egg hunting, making it a memorable experience for visually impaired children and their families.
