Cornbelt’s 24-hour run returns May 4, raises money for kids’ running programs

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – Cornbelt Running Club’s 24-hour run is coming back for the 44th time–which makes it the longest-running fixed time event in the U.S.

The event is from 7 a.m. on May 3 to 7 a.m. on May 4 at the Brady Street Stadium as runners compete for the most miles they can complete in 24 hours, according to the entry form.

The male and female winners get a trophy or hourglass and everyone who completes over 100 km gets a plaque.

Registration is now closed. Spectators and volunteers are welcome.

Proceeds from the event benefit the club’s children’s running programs.
