Mountain Lions finish day at 3-0

MILL HALL — Altoona swept three opponents — Central Mountain, Juniata and Mifflin County — 5-0 in going 3-0 in the Central Mountain Invitational in high school tennis action Thursday.

Dylan Batrus won three singles matches, Luke Mitchell and Owen Wasovich each won two, and Jude Brunhuber and Carter Free each won one.

Aiden Aiken and Avery Lanzendorfer combined to win three doubles matches, while the combinations of Max Chille and Sean Ratchford, Ratchford and Free, and Chille and Brunhuber each won one.

The Golden Tigers got singles wins from Garrett Bouchard, Felix Xu and Michael Waibel.

The No. 2 doubles team of Aamir Azad and Jacob Sidney also earned a victory.
