Jennifer Lopez’s twins attend movie premiere with her ex Ben Affleck and his 3 kids

Ben Affleck brought a few special guests to his new movie, “The Accountant 2:” Jennifer Lopez’s children.

“The kids are here, Jen’s kids are here, I’m very, very excited,” Affleck told “Entertainment Tonight” at the April 16 premiere of his new film at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. Both his children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner and his other ex-wife Jennifer Lopez’s kids attended.

“My kids and Jennifer Lopez’s kids … I’m very excited, I’m proud of the movie,” added Affleck. “I love when all the kids come out. It’s really fun, it’s exciting.”

The children of Affleck and Lopez, who finalized their divorce in January 2025, are close friends. Affleck and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner share three children, ages 19, 15 and 12; Lopez and her ex-husband Marc Anthony share 17-year-old twins Emme and Max.

When praised by the ET reporter for preserving those relationships, Affleck didn’t hold back.

“Listen, I don’t read the stuff online much and sometimes I get the sense that people perpetuate this idea of, I don’t know, they want to find something negative to talk about,” Affleck remarked of his former marriage.

“Jennifer Lopez is spectacular,” said Affleck. “Great to my kids, great ongoing relationship with them. I love her kids, they’re wonderful. She’s enormously important, tremendous person of a lot of integrity who I adore and I’m grateful to. I’m thrilled that the kids are here with me and that’s the kind of thing like, the relationships that you can have with children like that — that’s the joy of my life.”

Affleck added, “Those kids are amazing and I’m glad that this is the movie they wanted to come to.”

The star has also spoken about his relationship with ex-wife Jenner Garner, with whom he co-parents.

“I’m really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids’ mom, who’s wonderful and great and we work together well,” Affleck told GQ in a March 2025 profile.

When told by the “ET” reporter that Affleck is “a really good dad,” he replied, “I’m trying my best, I certainly do.”
