MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – During the month of April, you can dine out while benefitting Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin.
For over 15 years, Food Fight Restaurant Group has partnered with Second Harvest to help end hunger across southwestern Wisconsin. From April 1-30, guests who visit any of Food Fight’s 15 locations in Madison and Middleton can order food from that location’s special Food Fight Against Hunger Menu.
Organizers say $1 from every item ordered will support those facing hunger in southwestern Wisconsin. Restaurant guests can also add a donation to their dine-in bill or ask to add a donation to their bill for phone-in or carry-out orders.
Tito’s Handmade Vodka is donating $5,000 to Food Fight Against Hunger and Delta Beer Lab is brewing a special beer called ‘Hop it Forward Pale Ale.’ $1 from every sale of the special beer will be donated to the campaign, according to organizers.
This year’s goal is to raise $15,000. Over the last 15 years, Food Fight Restaurant Group and its guests have helped provide over 650,000 meals for those facing hunger in southwestern Wisconsin.
Participating restaurants in Madison include Aldo’s Café, Bar Corallini, Bassett Street Brunch Club, Canteen, Cento, The Coopers Tavern, Everly, Johnny Delmonico’s Steakhouse, Luigi’s Pizza, Miko Poke, Monty’s Blue Plate Diner, Steenbock’s on Orchard, and Tex Tubb’s Taco Palace. Middleton locations include Craftsman Table & Tap and Hubbard Avenue Diner.
