ELMORE COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) – An investigation is underway to find money missing from the Elmore County Food Pantry, according to the Wetumpka Police Department.
Two people have been arrested in connection to the case, though they have not been identified by name.
WPD says it has been actively investigating the disappearance of the pantry’s funds dating back to at least July 2024.
The exact amount of missing funds is unclear.
