Foods from Peru, India, Kazakhstan and other countries make up the international food festival, hosted by Furman University International Students Association.
Culinary creations from more than 40 countries headlined the International Food Festival at Furman University on April 11. The event was part of Furman Engaged, an annual daylong celebration of high impact experiences at the university. The International Food Festival drew about 1,500 lunchtime appetites and attention from local news outlets. Representatives from Furman’s food management company, Bon Appétit, were on hand to speak with crews from FOX Carolina and WYFF News 4. The stations aired the story during multiple segments.
