Kids in Storey County looking for something to do on Easter weekend should get their baskets ready for a hunt – or two.
One Easter Egg Hunt will be happening this Saturday, April 19, at 12:00 noon.
The hunt is being held at Miners Park in Virginia City, and is free and open to all kids up to fifth grade who live in Storey County.
Organizers of the event ask that all participants show up by 11:45 a.m. with your Easter basket ready to be loaded up.
Attendees can expect prizes and special guests.
The following day, on Easter Sunday (April 20), Mackay Mansion invites local kids to the Mackay Easter Egg Hunt.
This hunt takes place from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on the grounds of Mackay Mansion, and the cost is $15 per child – cash only.
The cost of entry includes the egg hunt, a raffle ticket, event photos and a tour of the Mackay Mansion.
Organizers for the Mackey Egg Hunt ask participants to arrive at 10:50 a.m. with their baskets ready to go.
