Rich Kids In Audi A3 Go 140 MPH Running From Police

There’s nothing more infuriating than entitlement, which might have been the force behind these rich college-age kids going 140 mph in their Audi A3 as police pursued. You’ve probably seen behavior like this before as some people, not just young kids, believe they get to put everyone else on the road in mortal danger so they can have some fun.

ATV rider literally runs over a cop, critically injuring him.

This went down back in August 2022 outside of Chicago as the trooper was monitoring westbound traffic on Interstate 90. Initially, he clocked the Audi A3 going over 100 mph but as he tried catching up to it, the driver pushed the little German car to 140 mph.

During the chase, the Audi nearly hit several other cars, including a Ford Explorer that was actually an unmarked federal law enforcement vehicle.

You can see in the dashcam footage the suspect driver swerved onto the shoulder many times, exited the interstate and got right back on, and in general was quite reckless.

What’s more, these kids caused another Indiana trooper to abandon a traffic stop with a red truck. Who knows if the guy driving that pickup had an active warrant, was trafficking drugs, etc.

Because of the actions of the Audi driver, multiple troopers and the federal agent had to join the pursuit, pulling away those resources all because some rich kids wanted to have some fun.

What finally stopped these two was the driver getting spooked because he hit a cement barrier. He was lucky he didn’t wreck out at 140, taking himself and others with him.

Once they were caught, the two kids seemed rather sheepish. We don’t know, but we wonder if they were boisterous and having a great time during the chase. The driver told the trooper who originally tried puling him over that he panicked and just went faster.

We’re not sure on which planet going even faster after getting caught speeding is a good idea. But we see this type of response often in police chases.
