- Onvo and Firefly — Nio’s two sub-brands, Xiaomi EV and BYD Fang Cheng Bao — will be attending the Shanghai auto show for the first time.

Organizers of 2025 Shanghai auto show released the full booth map today, with the biennial event a week away from starting.
The show will be held from April 23 to May 2 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.
Nearly 1,000 companies from 26 countries and regions will participate in the show, with a total exhibition area of more than 360,000 square meters, according to its organizers.
The event will have 13 indoor halls, including eight halls showcasing passenger cars — 3H, 4.1H, 5.1H, 5.2H, 6.1H, 6.2H, 7.1H, 8.1H, four halls showcasing automotive technology and supply chain products — 1.2H, 2.2H, 7.2H, 8.2H. The other 2.1H hall is the media area.
Onvo and Firefly — two sub-brands of Nio, Xiaomi EV, Huawei’s HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) business, and BYD’s (HKG: 1211, OTCMKTS: BYDDY) sub-brand Fang Cheng Bao, will be making their debut at the Shanghai auto show.
The Nio brand and Firefly’s shared booth is 7A16 in Hall 7.1H, near BMW and Great Wall Motor. The hall also houses Lotus and the ultra-luxury brand Bentley.
Onvo’s booth is 6B03 in Hall 6.2H, opposite Xiaomi EV’s 6B02.
BYD Auto’s booth is 8A06 in Hall 8.1H, and the group’s sub-brands are next to it, with Denza at 8A01, Yangwang at 8A02 and Fang Cheng Bao at 8A05.
Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV)’s booth is 5A10 in Hall 5.1H, opposite to Volkswagen at 5A09.
Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) is in Hall 6.1H at booth 6A09, next to Geely Galaxy and Lincoln.
Zeekr (NYSE: ZK)’s booth is also in Hall 6.1H at booth 6A06, and Lynk & Co is next to it at 6A07.
Leapmotor (HKG: 9863)’s booth is in Hall 6.2H at booth 6B11, next to Honda.
CATL (SHE: 300750)’s booth is also in Hall 6.2H, booth 6B01.
Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) is not shown in the booth map, and it is expected to stay out of the major auto show as it has for the past several years.
The last Shanghai auto show was held in April 18-27, 2023, with 1,413 vehicles on display, including 513 NEVs.
