Twin Falls firefighters respond to fast-food restaurant

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Twin Falls Fire Department responded to the Taco Bell along Blue Lakes Boulevard North on Saturday.

Firefighters responded at 11:51 a.m. after smoke permeated through the building after the building’s HVAC system went out, according to Battalion Chief Eric Schmitz.

Employees were safely evacuated from the building, and no one was injured.

Schmitz reminded businesses and homeowners to keep up with maintenance on their HVAC units to ensure safety and future events like this.
