LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – Mountain Metro AMBUCS held its 13th Annual “Trykes N Tread” Car Show, offering a good time and help to people with limited mobility, giving them the chance to be out and about once more.
There was more than just nice cars at the show, with fun activities like raffles, a live auction, a smokehouse, limbo and good music to keep people entertained for hours.
Trykes N Tread chair Kristina Keller said, the car show is a good way to give back to community members, such as veterans and children.
“They’ll be getting a tryke to help them get their independence and mobility back a little bit,” Keller said. “First time you see someone getting tryke, and you’ve never seen it, it can be a life changer.“
The event will continue through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Great Plains Coliseum.
If you miss this year’s event, don’t worry because they plan to host another event next year.
