Vikings drop first nonconference game of the season against Marshfield

Holmen got the scoring started in the second inning but the Tiger bats woke up late in the game as the visitors went on to win 18-4. 

Marissa McHugh drove in Taylor Everson to get the home side on the board but an instant response by Marshfield in the top of the third would even things up and then the Tigers would outscore the Vikings 17-3 the rest of the way. 

With the loss Holmen drops to 2-2 on the season and they will return to play next Tuesday against conference foe Logan.
