QUINCY (WGEM) -The Hawks are flying high on the mats. Both literally and figuratively. They have had their ups and downs in the program’s inaugural season, but are seeing all their hard work start to pay off as their first year comes to a close.
“its ben really fun just to grow. from the beginning. I wasn’t really sure what it was, but able to learn and grow throughout the year has been awesome. It’s been nice to solidify the work we have been doing and how far we have come,” said Rylee Mellon.
Come Sunday, these girls will have the chance to shine in front of their home crowd, something that’s been on their mind all season.
“That’s exciting. I’ve been waiting all year for this. We just want to showcase our talents and all the hard work we have put in since the beginning of the year and really are just excited to show QU what stunt is all about,” said Josey Miller.
