
RED BLUFF – Patrons should prepare their tastebuds and look forward to awe-inspiring vehicles.
Kick-off events are just around the corner as the 104th Red Bluff Round-Up approaches. The ever-popular annual Chili Cook-Off and Car Show takes place April 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pine and Washington streets in Historic Downtown Red Bluff.
Merchandise vendors will open at 9 a.m., the car show will begin at 10 a.m., and chili tasting will begin at 11 a.m.
The event features craft and product vendors, live music and a beer garden.
The family-friendly event itself is free to attend. For $8 per person, attendees can acquire a cup to sample the chilis and vote for the best chili. The People’s Choice Chili winner will receive a plaque and a $100 prize.
Those wishing to have a vendor booth, the cost is $35 for craft/product vendor booth rentals. After April 4, the booth cost is $50.
The Red Bluff-Tehama County Chamber of Commerce holds the event annually. Local businesses and non-profit organizations participate.
