Kids First childcare aid applications due May 1

Families in Aspen who rely on financial support from the city’s Kids First childcare program must submit their annual applications by May 1 to continue receiving aid, according to a press release. 

The financial assistance is designed to help working families manage the high cost of childcare, with new awards beginning June 1.

Offered through the city and the Kids First program, this initiative aims to maintain access to affordable, quality early childhood care. Families currently receiving aid are required to reapply each year to remain eligible.

Kids First serves as a local resource for early childhood education and support, working to ease the financial strain on families through targeted assistance.
