Car enthusiasts gear up for exciting 2025 events in Union County

Cruise nights, car shows, and motorcycle runs are set to take over Union County in April and May.

Kicking off the season is the weekly “Cruise for a Cause” event, held 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. each Monday starting May 12 at Aviation Plaza in Linden. The cruise night supports the N.J. Institute for Disabilities.

On May 18, the Retired Policeman’s and Fireman’s Association of Union/Somerset Counties will host their Classic Car Show and Street Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in front of Harding School on Kenilworth Blvd. in Kenilworth. Registration is $20 per vehicle.

The Curb Appeal Car Club will hold its Veterans Fundraiser Car Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 27 at the Union County Vo-Tech parking lot in Scotch Plains. Registration is $20, with a rain date set for May 4.

Also on April 27, a Bike, Car, Truck, and Jeep Meet & Show will take place from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 1209 Central Ave. in Hillside, next to the Township Pool. Registration is $20, and the rain date is May 4. For more information, contact GWiz at 908-482-8132.
