Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!
For episode 234, I’m joined once again by my co-host Myles Hughes, with producer Steve Prusakowski behind the scenes preparing for Emmys and a new season of TV Topics, so look out for that soon. This time around, we’re catching up on new releases, including Drop (reviewed here), Sacramento (reviewed here), and Warfare (reviewed here), plus discussing Freaky some more (my review is here) now that Myles has seen it. There’s also a chat about video games based on movies, piggybacking off of last week’s episode. Then, I preview my year in advance Oscar predictions, which you’ll be able to see tomorrow in all of their sure to be wrong glory. Throw in some trailer talk and we had plenty to gab about, so much so that we forgot to do your questions, but we’ll do a super-sized question section next week…
