ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – On April 27, kids and toddlers are invited to stop by the United Way Services Building in Rochester to participate in the Imagination Library: A Pop-Up Book Event.
This event will feature many free books for kids to take home. Families can also bring a book to give and find a new favorite one to take home.
Other hands-on activities, including story time, will take place in the parking lot (weather permitting) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 27.
United Way is also accepting donations to support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program, a nationwide program distributed by local organizations. Partnering with Imagination Library has provided free books to over 3,500 Olmsted County children each year.
The organization says it is also looking for volunteers to help facilitate this pop-up event, encouraging anyone interested to contact United Way of Southeast Minnesota.
