MARION COUNTY, Mo. (WGEM) – Voters in Northeast Missouri approved Proposition K.I.D.S. on Tuesday in Missouri’s general municipal election, allowing the Marion County R-II School District to borrow $1,450,000 for infrastructure improvements.

The district plans to use the funds to repair roofs, build new locker rooms and a weight room, and repair and improve other facilities.

Officials said they expect the debt service level to remain the same at $.5786 per one hundred dollars of real and personal property.
