MARION COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — Two minors on a moped are facing charges after pointing a BB gun at kids and firing shots in a Florida neighborhood.
On April 3, Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) deputies responded to Northwest Marion County for a call that someone was pointing a gun at children.
An investigation revealed two passengers on a moped pointed a gun at children in the victim’s front yard.
The witness also told deputies that they heard six gunshots shortly after the moped had left.

The body cam footage shows the mopeds driver, Alexis Joel Diaz, attempting to flea before eventually cooperating with deputies.
After being stopped, the video shows Diaz pulling a realistic-looking BB gun from his pants and throwing it to the ground before being taken into custody.
Once deputies apprehended Diaz deputies say they searched for other juvenile passenger, Titan Kiner, and took him into custody as well.
Kilner admitted to pointing the BB gun prompting deputies to find probable cause to book Kiner on counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and Diaz was booked on counts of Fleeing and eluding and driving without a license.
