Upcoming immunization clinics for school-aged kids

Benton Franklin Health District has teamed up with Richland, Kennewick, and Pasco School Districts to provide back to school vaccination clinics.

Children 18 and under are eligible to receive vaccinations, regardless of what school they attend.

No health insurance is required, and walk-ins are welcomed.

Leaders of the immunization clinics told us there’s more to these clinics than preparing kids for the upcoming school year.

“There can be delays in accessing primary care to get some of these things caught up to date so, we act as kind of a safety net for the community for those that would be experiencing either extended delays in getting an appointment, or who may be new to the community and have not established with primary care, we offer an opportunity for them to get the health services that they need in a timely manner,” said Juan Gutierrez, Clinic Operations Manager for Benton Franklin Health District.

There’s one happening Thursday April 10, 2025 at Leona Libby Middle School from 3 to 6 p.m., just bring your vaccination records.

If you can’t make it this Thursday, there are other clinics coming up.
