Artist Fabian Williams, aka Occasional Superstar, was commissioned to create a mural to celebrate Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter’s life.
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has achieved a prestigious culinary accolade, earning the No. 1 domestic airport for food and drinks in the U.S.
This recognition comes from Food & Wine magazine’s Global Tastemakers Awards.
Despite recently dropping to second place globally behind Dubai International Airport, Atlanta’s airport still boasts an impressive 192 gates across two terminals and seven concourses.
This extensive infrastructure supports a diverse range of dining options catering to its 286,000 daily passengers.
“Southern cuisine reigns supreme, with Shaun Doty’s southern diner Bantam & Biddy, Gerry Garvin’s Low Country Restaurants, rapper Ludacris’ Chicken and Beer, and soul food institution Paschal’s, whose original location was frequented by Martin Luther King, Jr.,” the magazine wrote. “While One Flew South was ATL’s first foray into fine dining, Ecco brings European flair with cured meat, cheese boards, and creative small bites (fried cheese balls with honey and black pepper, anyone?).”
