PARKERSBURG — Hall Financial Advisors has announced the promotions of Rob Beardmore and Kevin Knab to partner.

Both have demonstrated exceptional commitment to their clients and have played a significant role in the firm’s growth and success, HFA said in a press release. Their leadership and expertise will help further strengthen the team’s ability to deliver personalized financial strategies to clients across the region, the release said.

Beardmore joined Hall Financial Advisors in the summer of 2016 as a financial adviser. With a background in petroleum engineering/geology and 16 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, he transitioned into financial planning to combine his technical expertise with his passion for helping clients achieve their goals. He holds Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations and licenses in life, accident and health insurance.

Now a partner at HFA, Beardmore continues to leverage his deep understanding of investment planning and client-focused solutions, the company said.

“For me, this has always been a goal and aspiration–to be part of such a great group of folks that truly care about improving our clients’ quality of life,” said Beardmore. “It’s a huge responsibility that no one at this firm takes lightly, including myself. I’m honored to be part of the leadership team as we continue to operate at the highest level for our clients.”

Beardmore resides in Marietta, with his wife Jana, a nurse practitioner, and their son Isaac. A passionate outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, boating, and traveling with his family.

He also actively participates in several community organizations, among them SOOGA (Southeastern Ohio Oil and Gas Association), OOGA (Ohio Oil and Gas Association), SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers), Harmar Lodge 390 F&AM, Marietta Shrine Club, Moose Lodge 1823, American Legion Post 64, Marietta Country Club, the Marietta Boat Club, and Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce (MCAA) Board of Directors. The Beardmores also attend and are members of The Journey Church of Marietta.

Knab joined Hall Financial Advisors in 2017 as a financial adviser, bringing with him five years of experience in community banking, including serving as vice president of lending. He is a certified financial planner professional and holds Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations. His ability to simplify complex financial concepts and build long-term relationships has made him an invaluable member of the team.

Knab expressed his excitement about his new role, stating, “It is rare to find a company that cares so deeply for its clients and employees while operating as a high-performing team. I feel fortunate to wake up every morning and come to work for Hall Financial Advisors. I am eager to contribute to the firm’s leadership and continue developing the next generation of financial professionals.”

Knab lives in Marietta with his wife Krissy, a physician’s assistant; their two children, Evelyn and Lucas; and their Border Collie, Bruno. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, kayaking, and playing basketball and softball and he remains actively involved in the Marietta College basketball program.

Chris Hall, CPFA, founding partner and CEO of Hall Financial Advisors, shared his thoughts on the promotions: “Over the years, Rob and Kevin have grown into more than excellent financial advisers. They have complementary skills and expertise that enhance our firm’s aspirations and help us consistently exceed client expectations. Their leadership will be instrumental as we continue to provide award-winning financial services.”

Jeremiah Kuhn, CPFA, partner at HFA, added, “Integrity and trust are the foundation of any great relationship. Rob and Kevin exemplify these traits in every interaction with clients. It’s an honor to call them partners and friends. I look forward to working alongside them as we continue to grow and serve our clients.”

Founded in 2004, Hall Financial Advisors has grown to a team of 22 full-time professionals, including nine financial advisers supported by an administrative staff. With offices in Parkersburg and Marietta, HFA oversees more than $1.4 billion in client assets as of Jan. 1, 2025, and has been recognized by Forbes as a Best-in-State Wealth Management Team in West Virginia for two consecutive years.
