Tri-State Food Bank names new executive director

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – After a four-month search process, the Board of Directors of Tri-State Food Bank have named their new executive director.

Officials say Zac Heronemus will begin his new role with the food bank on April 28, succeeding Glenn Roberts who announced his retirement last fall.

“Heronemus comes to Tri-State Food Bank as a trusted community leader and a proven manager of non-profit organizations, most recently having served over five years as the executive director of Aurora, Inc., which works to prevent and end homelessness in the greater Evansville, IN area,” says a food bank spokesperson.

Tri-State Food Bank is a member of Feeding America’s national network of 200 food banks.
