PHOENIX (AZFamily) — According to the CDC, roughly one in 36 children are diagnosed with autism in Arizona. Now, a Valley program is launching a new play space designed for all children, including those diagnosed with autism.
Full Spectrum Learn & Play is hosting a free open house this weekend in Chandler, where kids are encouraged to learn through play. Employees use Natural Environment Teaching to teach kids new skills in both the preschool and play café.
The play café is geared to be a welcoming space for all, where kiddos can play, and parents can enjoy coffee. In addition, there are parent-only events in the evenings and on weekends!
Preschool ages are 2-6, while café classes are for ages 0-6.
The facility’s grand re-opening is Saturday, April 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Parents and kids are encouraged to come to the free event and enjoy the giveaways and special discounts. The facility is located near Rural and Ray roads.
