Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina to host community pop-up markets

SOUTHEASTERN N.C. (WECT) – The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina is hosting several pop-up markets across the Cape Fear region.

The markets will operate while supplies last. There are no income, residency, or ID requirements.

Columbus County

Cerro Gordo

Pop-up market to be held at the Cerro Gordo Baptist Church from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, April 7.

Chadbourn

Pop-up market to be held at Jerusalem Chapel Free Will Baptist Church from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on April 19.

Whiteville

Pop-up market to be held at Caring Hands Community Resource Center from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on April 21.

Duplin County

Wallace

Pop-up market to be held at Duplin County Health Fair: Spring into Wellness located at 206 S. West Railroad Street. It is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on April 12.

Brunswick County

Leland

Pop-up market to be held at St. James AME Zion Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 26.

The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina says the markets are no-cost food distributions directly handled by the food bank.
