Stray Kids emerged as one of the most successful K-pop acts in the Western world years ago, and the superstars continue to score win after win after win. The boy band has already landed a number of bestselling albums and hit songs in key markets like the United States and the United Kingdom, but this week marks a high point for the group in the U.K., as the pop stars flood multiple tallies with a quartet of new tracks, all taken from a just-released project.
Stray Kids Score Multiple New Hits
Four brand new tracks by Stray Kids debut on the U.K. charts this week. All four songs appear on two rankings apiece — the Official Singles Downloads and the Official Singles Sales tallies. At least two of the four cuts manage to become top 40 hits, which typically marks the threshold for when a track is considered a true success in many places.
“Truman” and “Escape” Stray Kids’ Top Performers
Of the four debuts, “Truman” leads the charge. The single opens at No. 29 on the Official Singles Downloads chart and No. 33 on the Official Singles Sales list. Just a few places behind comes “Escape,” which kicks off its run at Nos. 32 and No. 35, respectively, on the same rankings.
“Burnin’ Tires” and “Cinema” Fall Just Short of the Top 40
“Burnin’ Tires” doesn’t quite manage to reach the top 40 on both rankings, though it comes close. The track starts at No. 37 on the Official Singles Downloads chart, becoming an instant modest win. The same tune falls just shy of the same milestone on the Official Singles Sales list, beginning at No. 41.
“Cinema” trails a bit further behind, debuting at No. 44 on the downloads-only tally and No. 47 on the all-encompassing sales chart.

All Four Tracks Appear on Mixtape: Dominate
Each of the four newly-charting tunes is featured on Mixtape: Dominate, the latest collection from Stray Kids. While the release is labeled a single album in some markets — and an EP in others — it didn’t appear to qualify as an album by U.K. standards. Mixtape: Dominate doesn’t appear on any of the nation’s album charts, though its individual songs sold well enough to do so.
A Memorable Week for Stray Kids
This frame now stands as Stray Kids’ busiest ever in the U.K. The band has never before debuted four songs at one time. It’s rare for the outfit to place more than one tune on the U.K. rankings in a single week, so managing a quartet of debuts at once is a huge showing for the vocal troupe.
Stray Kids has now sent 15 tracks to the Official Singles Sales chart. With this week’s achievements, the musicians also boost their total on the Official Singles Downloads list to 16. Both of those numbers are impressive totals for a largely non-English-speaking act of any kind in the Western world.
