Members of the Mingo Junction Lions Club met for their monthly meeting March 20. Robin Quivers was sworn in as a new member and treasurer of the group. Dr. William Johns was recognized for his 45 years as a club member. Johns received a letter from Lions Club International President Fabrício Oliveira for his achievement. Neal Cleaver from the Mount Pleasant Lions Club gave a presentation on “All Things Lion” for the benefit of new members. At left, Quivers, left, was welcomed by President Karen Harris. At right, Harris congratulated Johns on his honor for being a club member for almost half a century.
