WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Saturday many attended the free WWAY Family and Kids Expo at Independence Mall in Wilmington.
Families walked around different vendors enjoying popcorn, cotton candy, balloon animals, playing games, and a magic show.
Princesses, pirates, donkeys, and a monster truck were also at the event.
One attendee, Michael Decker brought his kids, and they all had a good time.
“It’s going great, I was kinda looking for something to do with the kids today and I noticed the event on Facebook. Kind of met everything we were looking for to do on a Saturday. Really engage the kids. You can’t beat the cost of admission when it’s free,” Decker said.
Decker added he enjoyed the unique set-up at each table and the kids’ favorite part was the magic show.
