FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – A popular sports card trade show brought thousands of people to mid-Michigan Saturday.
The Vehicle City Sports Card Show which is held every March took place at the Dort Financial Center in Flint.
Whether you’re a seasoned pro, or just starting your hobby, the show had a bit of something for everyone.
There were over 300 vendor tables showcasing a vast array of sports memorabilia, trading cards, autographed items, and collectibles.
One attendee we spoke to said it’s a great opportunity to spend time with her dad.
“I like to do trade ups with Pokémon mostly,” said attendee Kayleigh. “My dad collects all the sports and stuff I really like only collect Pokémon though. I do it to spend time with my dad because he does a lot of work during the week so I get to hangout with him on the weekend and we are known to always have a father daughter duo it’s a good time to spend with my dad.”
Card enthusiasts were able to browse all the fun and trade at the Dort from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
