Two children were killed and nine people hurt when a car overturned after colliding with another vehicle in Brooklyn Saturday, according to police and sources.
The incident happened just after 1 p.m. on Ocean Parkway close to Avenue L in Midwood when a Toyota and an Audi collided, authorities said.
“It’s pretty bad,” one police source said.
Children’s shoes could be seen strewn about the gruesome scene.
A third child was in critical condition, while the two kids where were killed were pronounced dead at Maimonides Medical Center.
Four of those hurt were pedestrians.
