SUMMERDALE, Ala. (WALA) – More jobs will soon be coming to the Baldwin County area.
Maximus Meats, a processor of meat products, has announced plans to build its first production facility in Summerdale.
Officials said it will create more than 60 jobs and support meat production such as beef and pork products while also offering retail experience for customers.
The Baldwin County Economic Development Alliance says the 29,000-square-foot facility is scheduled to be complete this year.
