‘I tried the cream bronzer Jaclyn Lemon wears in The White Lotus’

If, like me, you’ve been patiently waiting every Monday for the new White Lotus episode to drop, then you’ll be pleased to know that we’ve got the details on all the fashion and beauty moments from the show so far. One character in particular who has impeccable style is Jaclyn Lemon, played by Michelle Monaghan.

We’ve rounded up a few of her best looks so far and where to shop them, and now we’ve got the info on her make-up. Specifically, Jaclyn’s bronzer, which is the secret behind her sunkissed, glowing skin. Shared by the show’s make-up designer, Rebecca Lynn, on Instagram, the exact bronzer used on set for Jaclyn was Saie’s Sun Melt Natural Cream Bronzer in Medium Bronze, £26

After finding this out, I knew I had to test this bronzer for myself and see if I could achieve Jaclyn’s flawless-looking glow. I was really surprised how much I enjoyed this product— so much so that I don’t think I can go back to using a powder bronzer.

PROS

• Looks so natural on the skin
• Creamy formula makes it easy to apply
• Leaves a healthy-looking glow/sheen on the skin

• Non-comedogenic so safe for acne-prone skin and unlikley to block pores

CONS

• If you’ve got really oily skin, this is likely to slip around if not set with a powder
• The product builds-up in make-up brushes fairly quickly

This is hands down one of the easiest-to-apply cream bronzers I’ve ever tried. If you’ve been wanting to try a cream bronzer but are unsure about how to apply it, you should definitely give Sun Melt a go.

Creamy and buildable, this product effortlessly applied onto the skin and provided a natural warmth that really looked like I wasn’t wearing any bronzer but instead had caught the sun in the most flattering way possible.

I had briefly tested this bronzer out before and found it was almost too creamy for my combination skin. However, after a few more tries, I know this product will be the perfect bronzer for summer, especially on holiday when you want that golden hour glowing skin.

My only downside is that I find the product builds up quite a lot on the make-up brish after use. I always used a dense brush to apply cream bronzers and this clung heavily to the brush hairs.

Overall, I’m putting this in my make-up bag as my new go-to bronzer and channelling Jaclyn Lemon. I switch between loving creams and powders but for now this one has me switching out my matte, powder bronzers for dewier finishes as we head into the warm weather.
