Officials from the River Bend Food Bank said the event raises money to fund the School Pantry Purchase program, which allows school food pantries to stock their shelves. The program serves 74 school pantries that help feed 2,200 kids each month.

The event featured dinner, a silent auction and raffle and a keynote presentation from Nora McInerny. KWQC’s Morgan Ottier emceed the event.

The event was from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rhythm City Casino Resort.
