AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – After fight at a Kids, Inc. event on March 22, seven people are banned and security is being added to all future events.
According to a press release, Kids, Inc. has worked with Amarillo ISD to review footage and discuss the fight.
The footage and information helped officials identify seven people involved in the fight. The people were banned from all Kids, Inc. games, practices, events and locations.
Kids, Inc. says the decision reflects their zero-tolerance policy for behavior that undermines the values of sportsmanship, respect and community.
The organization says these individuals’ actions do not reflect the values of Kids, Inc., nor the quality of the people who have dedicated their time to helping local youth.
Following the fight, the Kids, Inc. Board of Directors and Executive Team have decided to add security to all future events.
Kids, Inc. says its focus remains on the development and enjoyment of youth athletes.
