Columbia Gorge Food Bank launches ‘Great Gorge Melt’ to tackle local food insecurity

The Columbia Gorge Food Bank has launched a campaign called “Great Gorge Melt” to address food insecurity.

Fourteen restaurants across the region are serving up special grilled cheese sandwiches and quesadillas. A portion of the proceeds will go to hunger relief efforts in Sherman, Hood River, and Wasco counties.

Executive Director of the Columbia Gorge Food Bank, Breen Goodwin, joined ARC PDX Thursday morning to talk about the campaign, its origins, and more!
