Detroit Tigers visited by Major League Baseball Players Association
Major League Baseball Players Association executive director Tony Clark talks to reporters March 5, 2025, about several topics in Lakeland, Florida.
When you think about traditional baseball concessions, images of hot dogs, peanuts or Cracker Jack come to mind mixed with a beer or a soda, and you’ve got yourself a meal.
The traditional model has been thrown on its ear as teams add everything from burgers or pizza to chicken sandwiches and tiramisu.
Citizens Bank Park has not only embraced traditional fare, but surrounded fans with a potpourri of stunning options. The variety and quality of the foods at The Bank earned the stadium a second-place finish in the USA TODAY 10BEST Reader’s Choice Awards.
“We are thrilled that Citizens Bank Park has been named one of USATODAY’s 10Best! Ranked No. 1 for Best Stadium and No. 2 for Best Stadium Food, a baseball game here is more than just the action on the field – it’s a full entertainment experience,” said Kevin Tedesco, general manager, Aramark Sports + Entertainment, Citizens Bank Park. “Food is a key part of the fun, especially for those who come for the atmosphere as much as the game itself.
“Our diverse food and beverage options create unforgettable moments for fans of all ages.,” Tedesco said. “The variety and quality of our offerings, from classic ballpark fare to innovative culinary creations and local favorites from beloved Philadelphia and South Jersey restaurants, make Citizens Bank Park’s culinary experience truly special.”
