TYLER, Texas — *EDITOR’S NOTE: The video above is from the 2024 Kids Fishing Derby.

At CBS19, we believe in putting East Texas kids first!

Space is limited to the first 150 kids, ages 4-16. Children must be accompanied by an adult. We recommend you bring your own fishing rod, bucket or stringer, lawn chair and bait. We will provide a loaner fishing rod for those families in need (first-come, first-served — limited fishing rods available).

There will be giveaways, prizes, food and above all…FUN!
