Wednesday is Jersey Mike’s annual Day of Giving.
It’s making a major contribution to help kids with critical illnesses.
Fairfield is one of 34 Jersey Mike’s locations in Connecticut that will be donating 100% of all sales to help Make-A-Wishes come true for kids with critical illnesses.
There are currently more than 300 Connecticut children waiting for their wishes to be granted.
When the evacuation first happened, a lot of family members told News 12 they did like it at the St. Joseph’s Center and wanted to be back, but since then, some have changed their minds.
