Gulf Coast Kid’s House is hosting an Open House and Party for Prevention to kick off National Child Abuse Prevention Month in April.
The event, from 4 to 6 p.m. March 27 at the Gulf Coast Kid’s House at 3401 N 12th Avenue, will offer light snacks, tours of the facility and opportunities to mingle with other supporters of GCKH. Blue bows, GCKH t-shirts and stickers will be available for purchase ahead of National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
National Child Abuse Prevention Month is observed annually in April to raise awareness about child abuse and neglect, promote prevention efforts and support survivors.
