BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Blinn College Dental Hygiene Program is once again holding its “Give Kids a Smile” event, which provides free dental services for children.
The event is for elementary-aged children and includes cleanings, sealants, x-rays, and exams free of charge. Children must have an appointment to be seen.
Blinn Nursing will also be providing health screenings for parents while they wait.
“We want to make sure that they get a good experience. We don’t want them to be scared. We really want to make a positive impression on them, and we want to get them going in the right direction so they can have a good dental experience,” said Kysan Buckner, a student in the Blinn College Dental Hygiene Program.
There will also be fun, goody bags, and special guests attending for the children.
