Explore Custom Cars And Classic Rides At The Serenity Texas Car Show!

If you dig seeing custom rides and classic cars and helping others, here’s a way to do both with the second annual Serenity Foundation of Texas Car Show.

Get ready to rev up those engines and show off those rides all for a good cause on Saturday, April 5th at the First Baptist Church parking lot, 1333 North Second in Abilene from 8 am to 4 pm.

In addition to the car show, there will be food trucks serving up burgers, hot dogs, and more, plus a live DJ, silent auction, raffle, and plenty of activities for the kids.

Car Show Award Categories

This year, a motorcycle category has been added to the car show, which will award 7 different categories.

  • Best Paint
  • Best Engine
  • Best Interior
  • Best In Show
  • Top 10
  • People’s Choice
  • Best Motorcycle

You can pre-register your ride in person at the Serenity House Administration building at 150 Orange Street in Abilene or sign up on the day of the event from 7 am to 1 pm. Awards will be given out at 3 pm. Registration fee is $25.

All proceeds will go to support the Serenity Foundation of Texas.

Although this is a chance to see some really awesome rides in the Abilene area, this event also brings together those who may be battling addiction. I talk about booze a lot on the radio with my special Friday segment, The Weekend Buzz, but make no mistake about it, I support those who are looking for recovery and hope.

Serenity Texas is a non-profit organization with the mission to provide multiple substance use services to the communities in Texas through prevention education, treatment (detox, residential, and outpatient treatment), and peer recovery services.
